La discrecionalidad de las empresas en el ecuador para aplicar o no el principio de responsabilidad social empresarial, sus principales ventajas y desventajas

Abstract

Con el presente trabajo se pretende despejar algunas interrogantes que surgen a partir de la aplicación del Principio de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial, partiendo de la enunciación y breve explicación de las teorías que conforme el paso del tiempo evolucionaron hasta llegar a lo que ahora se conoce como las practicas socialmente responsables. Así mismo, se desglosa cada uno de los conceptos y definiciones correspondientes a Empresa, Filantropía empresarial, Responsabilidad Social Empresarial, para de esta manera llegar a puntualizar sin en Ecuador existe aplicación discrecional de este principio. Concluyendo la investigación con el análisis de casos prácticos, con un compañía del sector público y otra del sector privado, para evidenciar de manera dinámica si existe o no discrecionalidad al aplicar RSE

With the present work it is tried to clear up some questions that arise from the application of the Principle of Corporate Social Responsibility, starting from the enunciation and brief explanation of the theories that according to the passage of time evolved until arriving at which now it is known as the socially responsible practices. Likewise, each one of the concepts and definitions corresponding to Business, Corporate Philanthropy, Corporate Social Responsibility is broken down, in order to arrive at a point without Ecuador's discretionary application of this principle. Concluding the investigation with the analysis of practical cases, with a company from the public sector and another from the private sector, to show dynamically whether or not there is discretion when applying CSR
